Students may take Concert Choir, the audition Songbirds Treble Choir or the audition Cacophony Tenor/ Bass Choir as classes at Crofton High School. The groups perform several times throughout the year, including Crofton Choral Connections, a feeder concert with elementary and middle school chorus students; the December winter concert; the Choral Festival Preview Concert; and an end-of-year spring concert. They also travel to the Anne Arundel County Chorus Festival each year, where an expert adjudicates their performances. Songbirds and Cacophony often participate in additional opportunities such as holiday caroling at local retirement communities, performing during the school's International Night and, in 2025, at the University of Maryland Choir Invitational.
Crofton High School students have many other vocal opportunities, including singing with Radiance, a club choir that practices during Cardinals Connect; performing in the Crofton Cabaret; singing the National Anthem at various school sporting events; and auditioning with Crofton's theater department for the spring musical and variety shows. Students enrolled in choir classes also have the opportunity to audition for All-County and All-State Chorus, and to participate in the Solo & Ensemble Festival, a judged music event where students are able to perform as soloists or in a small music ensemble.
