In the fall of 2025, the Music Boosters had the opportunity to work one of the soda booths at the Maryland Rennaissance Festival. It quickly became a popular and profitable fundraiser for the group - across two days, participants worked fun, but full days (long hours, no substitutions) to raise over $7,000 for the Music Boosters through wages and tips.

Each fall the Crofton Cardinals Marching Band (CCMB) and Crofton High School Music Boosters welcome numerous regional high school marching bands to The Cardinal Classic, an annual Maryland Marching Band Association (MMBA) competition in the school's stadium. At the end of the day, while participants await the Awards Ceremony, the CCMB performs an exhibition of their show.

Each year the Cardinal Cabaret provides a fabulous catered dinner alongside dozens of solo and ensemble musical acts as well as a featured performance from Crofton High School's Big Band. In 2025, 91 students performed, helping to raise over $3,000 for the music department. Each year students entertain guests at Mid-Atlantic Community Church "Through the Decades," "At the Theater," "Around the World" or "In Nature."

In the spring, the Music Boosters sponsor a mulch sale for your garden and landscaping needs. Music students spend a morning delivering orders of 10 or more bags directly to the purchaser's driveway or assisting purchasers with smaller orders at the high school. Typically this fundraiser brings in between $1,000 and $2,000 each year to benefit the band, chorus and orchestra programs at Crofton High School.

Each May, the Crofton High School Music Department, with Music Boosters support, hosts a casual end-of-year dessert potluck banquet to recognize that year's musical accomplishments of the band, chorus and orchestra students. It's a fun evening filled with delicious desserts, a photo booth, camraderie and recognition. Classmates and the music teachers especially honor graduating seniors during this event.
